Loved that
A very pretty morning in the Gold's, so nice to have the desert all to myself picking and choosing my ride, breath of fresh air, loved that.
Creaking around
E bikers cruise on by barely pedaling, has a beer at the top, guess they have other uses as well......lol
Kiddo ride
Talked the boy into a ride instead of schoolwork so it didn't take any convincing. He did really good, had soem nervous bits for me and him but going to try to make it a reglar thing for me and him and maybe finally get him into it.
SObro
Headed to South Mountain for some chunky differentness. It did not disapoint, down national and down CDl, good stuff! I stumbled upon a coyote quite a ways up, seemed like it was lying in the trail, I stopped and took him in while he did of me, was only 20 ft away, he was very very chill and then took off, but ony my trail so we rode for awhile until it stopped next to the trail, so I did too, now even closer he chilled out a bit and then took off on the rocks and passed by me within few feet and for that second I crapped my pants but as he passed me I was impressed and glad! Coolest coyote encounter ever.

Motivation balancing
Feeling funny, losing a little motivation to ride the same old trails....... I guess I ride ALOT of Hawes and the fun in waning.

So good!
I finally got up to Pine! It was 28F in spots on my way up but when I got to Pine it was a comfy 35F. Felt pretty good as I headed for Pine Canyon for a classic loop. The Pine Canyon trail and forest was very little affected by the fire, it was hard to tell it was winter up there given all the greenery. Once I completed the loop I took the extra time and went onto highline, had the idea to try to dropdown trail to the control rd, that sucked bad, but gravel was nice and dh paved to the car felt like cheating after the last 3 hours, but yay for Pine!
