Phoenix Sonoran Preserve
Set the alarm for 4:30 and off I went, a bit of a drive to get all the way out to the preserve but it's a quite nice place worth riding. The trailhead was bumping and I have never seen it like that. I got onto sidewinder and it cleared out and I missed my turn and ended up on Ocotillo but that was ok, missed big climb but Ocotillo is fast and fun. I caught up to Sidewinder and up I went on a good climb. Then back to Ocotillo and making very good time. Then linked dirt road to the southern end of the preserve. Did a nice ride over on the south side, rode trails I hadn't rode last time and enjoyed it plenty. With power left it was smooth pedal to the car where I then added 3 miles with the extra time I had. Fast riding place for sure with a lot of climbing, managed 1,700ft.
