Case Mountain dawn Patrol

Wow what an incredible ride, I thought that after the beating I took last night at Nathan hale that I would not be motivated to get up at 4:45 and hit the trail but this is no ordinary dude! I thought I might be starting in the dark but by the time I got outside it was pretty bright to my surprise. I arrived at the pond lot to load up and try to get a feel as to how creepy the ride was going to be. I pedaled into the woods and surprisingly things did not seem creepy at all, they were a little erie but I could see the sun starting t brighten very very slowly but had plenty of light. I picked a route which sent me to case mountain first where I enjoyed a beautiful view over the city and couldn't help but appreciate how lucky we are that the sun comes up every morning on time and never ever ever doesn't. So after the view I headed over to the reservoir and as I got close the sun was hitting the top of the trees in some spots getting me excited to have the sun. By the time I hit the reservoir I could spot the sun just over the horizon where I saw the coolest thing I have ever seen. The lighting was amazing as the steam came off the water as the sun hit it and the slightest breeze was blowing this 6 inch tall smoke slowly across the water. Words cannot explain how cool this was and I wish I had more than my silly iphone camera to capture this amazing moment. After I enjoyed the show it was time to hit the power line trail and after that I decided to cut the ride 30 minutes shorter so adjusted the trails I rode to suit it. The sun was hitting parts of the trail now and I was getting yet another spectacular show and it made me smile and really appreciate the ride. Up case mountain and down and before I knew it I was back to the car and headed to work! Great day and absolutely incredible ride!
