Feliz Año Nuevo

2011 was one heck of a good year! Me and LuAnn experienced a lot this year, at times it was pretty tough with hurricanes, winter storms and still settling into CT. We are tremendously thankful we have a place to rent and call our own especially a place in such a nice area. LuAnn had a tough year in school and has proven to challenge her in many ways, but she strives as always for the next semester and is whipping through school on her way to show those dentists a thing or two. Brandon is pedaling his face off and quite happy doing it with his favorite pal by his side most the time, I am very happy and while I pretty much always have been I am even even more happy every day of my life with my beautiful wife by my side. Bowie and Bentley have been better than ever, we cannot imagine them in our lives and I can't wait to get home and see them, I try not to think about them too much and that's not easy with 2 million dogs running around but we look very forward to getting them back. Bowie I will be showing hi some pictures and stories from some cases to put a little change of heart in the little guy cause he was been grrrrruuuummmppyy sometimes. I am very thankful for the health of our families, they are all well and we enjoy getting to see my parents frequently, we do miss our family in Utah dearly. We will soon be joining them in almost two short months!

Ok so on with the celebration, yesterday we had a nice lunch with Ivan's Grandmother, Uncle, and three of her cousins. It was a very good meal with some chicken, pork and potatoes. After our long lunch we set off back home where we got some much needed sleep, no others slept but we did in fear of how late we hear they stay up. Back home we are pretty comfy with our home life aren't usually dancing until 4-5am in the morning. SO after our sleep we were invited over to Francisco's families house for food, Francisco is one of the cousins husbands. After some good food we rocketed off foe Vina Del Mar, by now it was 11:15 and was suprised we didn't need to leave earlier, but sure enough after a long walk we made it to the beach before the fireworks. Peoples were everywhere it was nuts, while there was so many people it was not chaotic and overwhelming for me which was good. After a few short minutes and a lot of Chi Chi Chi Le Le Le the fireworks went off with a bang. There must have been 20 platforms lined up miles along the beach side ocean where each one set off a great display of lights. It was a magnificent display and really enjoyed the display and will forever remember New Years in Chile. After the fireworks we got into the car to drop off Felipe's Grandmother and got caught in some nasty traffic. After hours of traffic we called off the dancing which to be honest I was not looking too forward too. Got home and was asleep by 4am. So thankful for this great year!
